TCC’s Core Ideals
Tiverton Citizens for Change supports Town Government which:
- Limits spending and property tax increases;
- Deems itself accountable to the individual citizen;
- Acts as a responsible steward of Town resources;
- Improves financial planning and public services to increase taxpayer value; and
- Offers integrity, transparency, and responsiveness with access to decisionmakers and the deliberative process.
Tiverton Citizens for Change will achieve this mission by:
- Advocating for or against ballot questions, Town budgets, or relevant issues;
- Supporting likeminded candidates;
- Monitoring, analyzing, and engaging Town Government; and
- Educating and informing voters.
